Legacy PCA VARSITY ROBOTICS

WHO WE ARE
Our two varsity robotics teams compete for Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy while students tackle individual focus areas within the class such as Engineering Design, Programming, & Building. We have grown from the start of the program in 2017 and now occupy a STEM lab at LPCA. Our students compete in the local FIRST Tech Challenge West Houston league, TAPPS FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship, and partner with the theatre program at our school for various needs. As registered FTC Teams for two years, we will compete this year in the FIRST Tech Challenge Freight Frenzy. We are motivated and dedicated students ready to take on this year's challenges.
WE ARE GROWING
Our program is still developing and our available resourses are still smaller than larger programs. We are grateful for the technology we currectly use, however we understand that there are current limitations that can be resolved with additional resources and updated equipment. THIS SEASON
For the 2021-2022 Robotics Season, we will compete in the First Tech Challenge "Fright Frenzy" competition. We will compete at multiple meets and tournaments within our local Houston area, and finally at the TAPPS State Championship in Waco, TX.
